Satiariyan Flash Slideshows
A slideshow can be made as humble and discreet as seems fit for one page and it may be the very center-piece of another page. Keywords in respect to what determines a slideshow's character are (besides the slides themselves) delay time, transition effect, length, and width. On this page we present two slideshows which essentially are just two instances of the very same flash object.

The small slideshow to the right uses "slow fade" as transition effect and the delay time between each slide is five seconds. Placed at the bottom of a sidebar (in maybe an even smaller size) it would be an example of a very discreet animation.
The wider slideshow below uses a number of different transition effects at random. The delay time is set to three seconds. It evidently is a bit less discreet than the one above. It can be made much wilder merely by reducing the delay time, but we have chosen not to demonstrate this, here.

A flash slideshow has more potentials than merely showing off some photos. The slides are just pieces of graphics and could be plain text (made in your preferred image editor) for that matter. Thus, you could use a slideshow as a simple means to present some product on your commercial website, for example.
Options
The samples on this page are as simple as can be. We have more advanced versions on stock such as ones with navigation buttons and options for placing a logo or watermark on each slide as they are shown. In the demos all slides just link to our frontpage, but each slide can independently be set to link to wherever.
The shows can be stand alone objects on your website or they can be embedded in other flash objects. For example you could have a small slideshow at the right side of your banner or header, which presents your most photogenic products one by one - at random or in a predefined sequence.
